Lovely calendar designed by Simon Gregory Partridge, a local Kent artist, for help raise funds for the Warnborough Foundation.
He has roped in several other artist friends who have contributed paintings and photographs. They are Paul Dagys, Dena Slaughter and Christ Burke.
Profile of Simon Partridge
I have been writing, thinking and drawing forever. I was schooled at The Harvey Grammar School, Stonyhurst College and Magdalen College Oxford.
I had a mental breakdown in my second year at Oxford, a factor that has governed my style of life. My favourites are Shakespeare and Gerald Manley Hopkins – and you may describe my primary role as being a Poet. I am intrigued by pencils, light and shade; I also have an ongoing affair with colour and occasionally try my hand with paints and Sharpies.
